Hobbies & Skills

In addition to music, helping my grandparents, and volunteering here is what I enjoy:
I love reading. I read fast, and I read a lot. I especially love reading about Greek and other ancient mythologies.
I also enjoy just about any methodical and logic-based activity. Building giant LEGO sets are my favorite, I (together with my family) even made a stop-motion video of the largest set (at that time) ever made by LEGO. (See the video below)
I also enjoy puzzles (both 2-D and 3-D), origami, strategy games, and especially assembling IKEA furniture.
Each fall I help my mom make elaborate Halloween costumes.
My church (FOPC) is a big part of my social, spiritual, and volunteer life. I go to various events and clubs, two - three times per week. I like how progressive our church is, and how much we work for a more equitable world.

Be sure to watch more than just the beginning. Once the mini figs are built (around 1:50), the animation becomes much more complex.
This is an extremely rough cut of our current project - the UCS AT-AT. The mini fig animation is much more complex (starting 2:40) than on the Millennium Falcon. There is a lot of work that still needs to be done, but thought you might enjoy it anyway.
